But pretty soon I wondered where it went
It's really such a comedy
A slapstick sorta revery
It always leaves you laughing till you're spent
As soon as there's a wind that blows
Love goes where the compass shows
You can count it by degrees, no doubt
But there's no way to measure out the-

Stolen moments, lifted drinks

Then home to lie awake all night in bed
